The Chariot Law Firm, LLC in Colorado is seeking a full-time associate attorney to manage family law matters from intake to hearing and to advocate for clients in court. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and a supportive, mentorship-rich environment.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an accredited law school, are licensed in Colorado, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior family law experience is a plus, with additional value placed on criminal defense

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Applicants must reside in the state of Colorado and be a licensed attorney in the state of Colorado.
• Previous experience in family law is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
• Public Defender or District Attorney experience is highly desired, although also not required.
• Experience preparing and arguing motions, attending court hearings, preparing cases for trial and hearing, and experience researching and drafting briefs and motions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action.
• Manage full case responsibilities from inception through resolution.
• Prepare clients and cases for hearings, court conferences, mediations, and trials.
• Appear in court to represent clients and ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings.
• Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current.
• Interact with clients and work with experts.

• Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000. Dependent upon experience.
