Job summary

Stonepath, a midsize litigation firm in Delaware, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance defense practice. • Active Delaware Bar admission required.
• Open to attorneys at all experience levels, from newly admitted attorneys to experienced litigators.
• Prior insurance defense, workers' compensation, or liability litigation experience is preferred but not required.
• Attorneys from other practice areas are encouraged to apply if interested in transitioning into these areas.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Interest in developing a long-term practice within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of insurance defense, workers' compensation, and liability litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Assist with depositions, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff throughout the litigation process.
• Manage cases and responsibilities independently as experience develops.
