Job summary

The Law Offices of Thomas Stahl in Columbia, MD is seeking an associate attorney with family law litigation experience to join a collaborative, fast-paced practice. The candidate should have exposure to estate planning, probate, or estate litigation as a strong plus.

Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload, drafting motions and documents, taking depositions, performing legal research, and coordinating timelines across cases while maintaining clear client communications.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Maryland Bar is required; DC Bar admission is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Experience with estate planning, guardianships, probate, or estate litigation a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with case management software, Clio preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
