Job summary

Ideal Talent Group is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney for its established Colorado or Arizona team. The position offers a competitive base salary and flexible work options, including fully remote opportunities in Arizona and hybrid or in-office options in Colorado.

You will manage defense matters for large employers, develop litigation strategies, and coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado or Arizona.
• At least 1 year of workers’ compensation experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Experience in insurance defense or civil litigation is a plus.
• Must demonstrate case management abilities and familiarity with billable-hour requirements.

Our client, an established mid-sized law firm with a strong presence across the Mountain West, is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join its growing team in Colorado or Arizona.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters with large clients. (Amazon, United Airlines, Target, Southwest, American Airlines, etc)
• Develop and implement litigation strategies while overseeing cases from inception through resolution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Colorado or Arizona.
• At least 1 year of workers’ compensation experience, with 2+ years preferred.
• Insurance defense, civil litigation defense, subrogation, or related litigation experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrated case management abilities and familiarity with billable-hour requirements.
