Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of legal experience, with Real estate or litigation experience a plus.

• Strong interpersonal, research, and writing skills.
• Interest in landlord representation.
• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Interview new clients and meet with existing clients to render legal advice.

• Travel to Housing and District Courts to argue motions and attend other pre-trial court appearances before a judge and conduct trials.
• Draft legal documents; including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and repayment agreements.
• Track and enter billable time.
• Achieve assigned billable goals.
• Complete ongoing professional development through employer sponsored training with MCLE, MBA and REBA.
