Job summary

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. in Buffalo, New York, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding civil litigation practice.

You will work with experienced litigators on complex matters and develop litigation skills, participate in case strategy, and interact directly with clients. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of insurance defense experience, NYS Bar admission, and strong written and oral communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
• Medical malpractice and/or long-term care experience is preferred, but not required
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and case-management abilities
• Demonstrated interest in developing as a litigation attorney and working collaboratively within a growing team

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $135,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience, plus two bonus structures, and a comprehensive benefits package
