Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial litigation or complex civil litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and hearings.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.
• Active New Mexico Bar license and admission required for New Mexico positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage Civil/Commercial Litigation Attorney matters from inception through resolution.

• Handle pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Draft complaints, answers, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Analyze construction contracts, project documents, and related claims.
• Work with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
