General Summary

Identifies and promotes relationships with major donors with an emphasis on emerging gifts.

Major Duties

  • Develops and promotes relationship strategies for prospects in an assigned portfolio.
  • Successfully engages alumni, faculty, staff and constituents in intercollegiate athletics development activities.
  • Oversees and assists with Bronco Athletic Fund benefit fulfillment to successfully steward donors.
  • Assists with premium seating solicitations and logistics.
  • Assists with identifying potential prospects, including determining the interest and affiliation with the University.
  • Builds relationships with donors and assists in coordinating strategies and personal visits for the involvement of institutional partners.
  • Assists with gift proposals and agreements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
  • Three years’ relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or related field.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Capable of motivating volunteers and donors.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a complex organization.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
