Job description

Highlights:

Reporting to the Executive Associate AD, the Associate AD for Information Technology supports the technology needs of DePaul’s Athletics Department. This role involves designing and implementing technology plans related to application development, hardware/software procurement, maintenance of over 150 devices, and access management. The individual manages department-specific technologies such as video analytics, scoreboards, and broadcast technologies, collaborating with the Ticket Office to develop the data warehouse and working closely with coaches, staff, and university IT teams to ensure effective technology integration aligned with departmental goals.

What You'll Do:
  1. Technology Projects: Evaluate and deploy technology solutions to improve efficiency, coordinate with staff, IS, vendors, and external partners.
  2. Support & Technical Support: Manage and support various technologies across facilities, oversee technical support for over 200 devices, and work with IS on complex issues.
  3. Data Warehouse & Systems: Collaborate on the data warehouse project, gather business needs, and design data structures and flows.
  4. Infrastructure Documentation: Develop and update enterprise-wide IT infrastructure maps, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
  5. Budget & Vendor Contracts: Plan budgets, develop cost projections, and negotiate software and hardware contracts.
  6. Compliance & Budget Management: Follow NCAA rules, manage a department budget of approximately $50K annually, and participate in NCAA meetings.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MS preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of PC/laptop maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with technology deployment, project management, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and attend events as needed.

Salary range: $56,222 - $88,000 per year, dependent on experience and education.
