We’re working with a growing renewable energy platform looking to add an Asset Management Analyst or Associate to its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–4+ years of experience in renewable energy who wants hands-on exposure to a growing portfolio of operating solar and battery storage assets.
You’ll play a key role across asset performance, financial analysis, operational reporting, cash management, O&M oversight, and project optimization, working closely with senior leadership, investors, lenders, and external partners.
The role would suit someone who is analytical, commercially minded, highly detail-oriented, and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment where you can build processes rather than simply follow them.
Support the management of a portfolio of operating solar and battery storage projects
Analyze technical and financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Identify performance variances, investigate key drivers, and identify opportunities for optimization
Prepare operational and financial reporting for management, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders
Support monthly asset performance and operations reviews
Own and maintain financial models tracking project performance and investment returns
Manage project cash flows, including payments, debt service, and distributions
Work closely with O&M providers to ensure equipment issues are resolved and preventative maintenance is completed
Monitor community solar customer management providers and contractual performance
Manage third-party asset management consultants where required
Maintain contractual compliance databases and ensure project obligations are completed on schedule
Support the onboarding of new projects into the asset management function
Work alongside Development, EPC, Project Finance, and Corporate Finance teams
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and insurance renewal activities
Support asset management activities related to new investment opportunities
Help develop and improve asset management processes, systems, reporting, and procedures as the portfolio grows
1–4+ years of experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, consulting, project finance, asset management, engineering, or a related field
Experience with operating renewable energy assets is highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

Experience with solar, battery storage, and/or community solar is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems independently

Interest in using AI and emerging technology to improve analysis, reporting, contract review, and asset management workflows
