Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Associate Assembler in Charleston, SC to support production by assembling units per standard work instructions. You will use hand and power tools, identify out-of-tolerance units, and help maintain a clean, organized work area.

You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve line issues, demonstrate leadership, and embrace continuous learning to master various product types and builds.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge and teamwork are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products following standard work instructions using hand and power tools.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; support smooth workflow.
• Professionally communicate issues to leadership.
• Support overtime to meet business needs.
• Actively participate in change management/lean transformation activities.
