Job summary

Automatic Data Processing is seeking an Associate Application Developer in Pasadena, CA to design and implement software solutions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous improvement.

Participate in all phases of the SDLC, work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, UX designers and engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy IT solutions. Build well‑documented code, review peers, and help deliver polished software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or Master’s degree with no required experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Angular or React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and object‑oriented programming.
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, and RESTful services (JSON).
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ IDE.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies quickly.

Compensation

Base salary range: $100,121 to $122,000 per year, plus potential bonus or equity compensation. Pay varies by location, skills, and experience.
