24 Seven Talent seeks an Associate Technical Designer for an onsite, four-month contract in Portland, OR. You will support seasonal apparel development across baby, toddler, and kids' categories, partnering with a Senior Technical Designer and cross-functional teams to move styles from handoff to production.

The role requires strong garment construction knowledge, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for tech packs, and hands-on fittings, with vendor coordination and calendar-driven deliverables.

Competenze

  • 2-4 years of technical design experience in apparel.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, measurements, patternmaking and grading.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, including technical flats and tech pack creation.
  • Experience with PLM systems; Centric, Cubix or similar platforms a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with fittings, sample management, and vendor communication.
  • Kids', baby, sleepwear, knitwear, or sweater experience preferred, though general apparel experience welcome.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, or equivalent experience preferred.

This is an onsite, approximately four-month contract based in Portland, Oregon, with an anticipated start date of 11/30.

We are seeking an Associate Technical Designer to support seasonal apparel development across baby, toddler, and kids' categories. This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a detail-oriented technical design professional who enjoys working closely with product, development, and vendor partners to bring high-quality garments to market.

You will partner with a Senior Technical Designer and a collaborative cross-functional team to manage styles from design handoff through production approval. The ideal candidate brings strong garment construction knowledge, confidence in fittings and measurements, and the ability to take ownership after a short onboarding period.

Responsibilities
