• Minimum 4 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Knowledge of FDA/USDA, HACCP, FSMA, GMP standards and best practices.
• Experience conducting audits and inspections with attention to detail.

Description Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality throughout our operations. The primary focus of this role is to support and maintain effective food safety programs, policies, and procedures, in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of food safety principles.

Scope of the Role

• Support and maintain food safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training sessions to educate employees on food safety practices, proper handling, sanitation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in food safety regulations and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains in compliance and is aware of emerging risks.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's hygiene procedures including Zoning, GMP, Pest Management, and Environmental Monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve food safety issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
• Provide support to overall food safety programs and other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices (FDA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA, GMP, etc.).
• Proficient in conducting audits and inspections, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and educate employees at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Familiarity with food safety software systems and data management tools is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
