Introduction:

Our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Jacksonville and Component Operations facility is seeking Aircraft Machinists motivated to support military readiness by providing critical maintenance, repairs, and modifications for our military customers. The products we service help strengthen global security.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Follow detailed instructions, interpret blueprints and specifications to set-up and operate manual mills, lathes, and CNC machines for fabricating parts.
  • Assist team members in completing job responsibilities.
  • Ensure work meets engineering specifications and is free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Work with engineering to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Develop layouts and plan operations for fabricating machined parts.
  • Set up and operate equipment like lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes.
  • 1+ years of experience with CNC mills and lathes.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and manipulate parts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of Tool Control experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or Quality.
  • Experience with Cribmaster, Andon, and BESSY systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Additional Information:

Boeing is a Drug-Free Workplace. The salary range is $46,750 - $63,250. Applications are accepted until May 22, 2025. US Person status is required for export control compliance. Relocation assistance is not provided. Employer does not sponsor visas. This is a first shift position.
