Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0-2+ years of work experience related to Mechanical HVAC; direct AAS systems planning/construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of process exhaust duct sizing & layout; scrubber for waste air treatment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to work in a construction site environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements classification and design review for Air Abatement System (AAS) including process exhaust duct, scrubber, and dosing chemicals.
• Clarify scope with stakeholders and review specifications.
• Assist procurement on AAS equipment and materials and assist in contractor awards.
• Understand isometrics, P&ID and CAD drawings for AAS systems.
• Review, approve and oversee the installation of AAS systems.
• Inspect progress to ensure workmanship meets specs and schedules.
• Review progress reports, materials used, costs, and adjust schedules.
• Review RFIs and change orders and provide responses.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication.
• Identify and solve problems; manage scheduling and execution.
• Understand drawings and estimations.
• Other duties as assigned.
