Job summary

Roundglass is seeking an Associate, AI Applications & Automation Engineer to translate real business problems into practical AI solutions. You will work with teams across Roundglass to identify repetitive processes and build AI agents, intelligent workflows, automations, and micro-apps that simplify work.

The role blends software engineering with applied AI, using Python, APIs, LLMs, and internal data to prototype solutions and deploy dependable applications used across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, or related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, applied AI, automation, systems integration, data engineering, or related technical role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building applications or services using REST APIs, databases, webhooks, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Practical experience with generative AI or LLMs beyond consumer tools.
• Experience building automation workflows or internal tools that reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and improve AI-powered applications, assistants, and agents across Roundglass.
• Develop AI agents that analyze information, use tools and data, and perform multi-step business tasks.
• Create lightweight AI apps and micro-apps that scale across teams.
• Connect LLMs with internal knowledge and data using RAG, intelligent search, and structured outputs.
