Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, TX is seeking an Associate Aerospace Engineer to support IRAD and new technologies initiatives under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.

You will assist with research, update project schedules and metrics, support the WNFW program, and help prepare materials for meetings, minutes, and action follow-ups. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge aerospace tech and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or have completed a degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with New Technologies Research and provide detailed reports for decision-making.
• Update IRAD project schedules and compile metrics for tracking progress.
• Support the WNFW project and help implement action items.
• Provide meeting support: prepare materials, take minutes and follow up on actions.

Education

Job Description:

• Assist with New Technologies Research: Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide detailed reports and insights to support the Chief Engineer (CE) for IRAD and New Technologies in strategic decision-making.
• IRAD Project Schedule Updates and Metrics Reporting: Update project schedules and compile metrics for IRAD (Independent Research and Development) projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of progress.
• What's Next for Waco (WNFW) Project Support: Assist the CE in identifying and implementing WNFW action items, contributing to the successful execution of these initiatives.
• Meeting Support for IRAD and New Technologies Projects: Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings related to IRAD and New Technologies projects, including preparing materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing aBachelor’sdegreeMechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics,Materials ScienceEngineeringor related fieldor have completed theirBachelor’sdegree within the last 12months,regardlessof age.
