Job summary

Milliman, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks an actuary to analyze mortality, morbidity and retirement risk, build probability tables, and forecast liabilities for future benefits.

You will conduct M&A due diligence, review assumptions and operations of Variable Annuities and Fixed Indexed Annuities, and assess exotic derivatives for risk mitigation. Applicants should have a Master's in Actuarial Science or related field, ASA certification, and permanent US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics with conc. in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Science with conc. in Actuarial Science, or equivalent.
• Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification required.
• Permanent US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mortality, accident, sickness, disability & retirement rates and forecast risk and liability for future benefits.
• Conduct M&A due diligence including review of assumptions, risks and operations of Variable Annuities and Fixed Indexed Annuities.
• Evaluate exotic derivatives for reducing risk exposure and determine impact of risk management programs for M&A transactions.
• Implement financial modeling and technical solutions using MG-ALFA and integration.
