Important Note: To be considered for this position, candidates must hold an ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) designation, a bachelor's degree, and possess a minimum of two years of actuarial experience.

Position Purpose: As a key member of our actuarial team, you will focus primarily on pricing ACA Marketplace plans. This role involves conducting in-depth actuarial analysis to estimate financial outcomes and assess risks, considering the regulatory landscape of the ACA market.

In this Associate Actuary role, you will:

• Develop, analyze, and support pricing strategies for ACA Marketplace plans, considering premiums and market dynamics.
• Review key pricing inputs and assumptions, including experience, reimbursement, and morbidity analyses.
• Support rate filing processes in at least one state/market, including preparing filings and communicating with regulators.
• Serve as the main contact for actuarial activities for an assigned health plan.
• Research and analyze legislative/regulatory changes impacting the market.
• Analyze data reports, identify trends, and recommend actions.

Applicants may work remotely within the Continental US, with a preference for PST hours.

Pay Range: $86,000 - $154,700 per year.
