Scoular seeks an Associate Accountant for the Grain Division to join the Accounting and Control team, supporting monthly close, journal entries, and reporting. This role emphasizes internal controls, risk monitoring, and collaboration with trade units to meet division objectives.
The position is part of the Pathways Development Program, a two-year graduate development track with mentorship, rotations, and accelerated learning across Scoular’s operations.
The Associate Accountant for the Grain Division works with the Accounting and Control team to provide finance support to the business as well as serve as a subject expert on various reporting and compliance projects. Responsibilities include working closely with assigned trade units on accounting needs, monthly close and reporting of financial information, monitoring internal controls, reporting risk exposure, reviewing system outputs, and reporting and compliance assignments for the Grain Division. The selected candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ability to successfully work with others, and a drive to support overall division and finance objectives.
Scoular Pathways Program is a two-year development program that immerses new graduates in broad-based, accelerated learning, developed to drive profitability through diverse experiences, active networking, and ongoing education.
