Position: Sales Support - DAY (United States of America)

Summary of Duties

Assist in the sales process by familiarizing with procedures, products, customers, and their needs.

Essential Functions

  1. Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Sales Representatives to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by:
  • Identifying potential customers.
  • Meeting regularly with clients to present and sell Merit products and explain their benefits.
  • Conducting in-service presentations to clinicians about new products.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction and needs.
  • Following up to increase sales volume and profitability.
  • Improving customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing and submitting pricing contracts and resolving related issues.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales staff to ensure timely and adequate product shipments, stay informed about new products, and gather customer feedback.
  • Assist in preparing monthly sales reports and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of Merit and competitor products, including their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Set and achieve personal sales goals.
  • Contribute to team efforts to increase market share by enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings via car, plane, or other transportation.
  • Perform other sales-related duties as required.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    * Reside in Southern Louisiana.

    * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

    * Effective communication skills and understanding client needs.

    * Motivated with a drive to achieve goals.

    * Excellent presentation skills and quick thinking.

    * Ability to learn medical equipment usage and suggest improvements.

    * Teamwork and organizational skills.

    * Proficiency in business mathematics and reporting.

    * Ability to work independently and travel extensively.

    * Valid driver's license with a good record.

    * Computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases.

    Preferred Qualifications

    * One year of direct sales experience.
