Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for an Associate Account Executive who will be responsible for driving net new logo sales on our Integrated Marketing Systems (IMS) team with outreach focused on local small and midsize businesses (SMB) in the architectural, engineering and construction (A/E/C) industry. This role is critical to the organization, focusing on new business development, revenue generation, and targeted growth. Specifically, you will be expected to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities from prospect to close.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Regional Sales Director.

Preferred Location:

This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered.

Travel Requirements:

A willingness to travel as needed for face-to-face meetings with prospects is required.

Essential Functions:

  1. Build and establish a pipeline of new prospects from which to close new sales opportunities.
  2. Pursue sales leads and research prospects that match our service offerings.
  3. Gain understanding of specialized products, services, markets, and clients.
  4. Identify key decision makers and engage with those to introduce the IMS product and services.
  5. Perform continued follow-up activities/pipeline management to close new business.
  6. Partner with Senior Sales personnel to begin building contacts and identify sales opportunities.
  7. Engage with customers over the phone and internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) to close sales.
  8. Successfully complete daily KPI expectations for prospecting, follow-up calls/emails, and other activities.
  9. Maintain high call volumes.
  10. Update prospecting pipeline through CRM (we use Salesforce!) in real time and show and manage stage progression, anticipated close date, contextual notes, and estimated deal value.
  11. Accurately forecast monthly outcomes derived from pipeline, activity, and deal specific data summation.
  12. Send proposals and process contracts through company systems.
  13. Dutifully record, process and complete customer data entry through discovery and qualification process in Salesforce.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  1. 1+ years of relevant sales experience; preferably selling SaaS/technology related products or services with a track record of consistently closing new business.
  2. 4+ years of general work experience.
  3. Superior personal integrity and ownership of outcomes, and coachable mindset.
  4. Relationship building and client-centric skills.
  5. Ability to coach customers on best practices; uncover pain points and recommend solutions.
  6. Exhibit an empathetic small business growth mindset to identify meaningful opportunities for prospects' benefit.
  7. Ability to cold call and build a resourceful pipeline.
  8. Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and be an active listener.
  9. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  10. Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (we use Salesforce!), including solid understanding of CRM and order management functionality, as well as desktop software programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  11. Web/tech savvy with an aptitude to learn new SaaS products.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
  2. Knowledge of the A/E/C industry and/or government projects a plus.
  3. Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus!

Salary Disclosure:

$50,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS!

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full-time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
