Job Summary

The Associate Account Executive is responsible for driving sales across all territories in a region, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of Henry Schein One products and sales processes, as well as understanding the relationship between Henry Schein Dental and Henry Schein One. It is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those interested in starting a sales career and developing their skills in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do
  • Assist the regional sales team with lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups. Conduct market research to identify potential customers.
  • Engage prospects via calls, emails, and other channels to introduce products and services, understand customer needs, and assist in closing deals temporarily for open territories.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits and answer client questions.
  • Qualify incoming leads, schedule meetings or demos for senior sales reps, and ensure accurate tracking in CRM.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and provide regular performance reports.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships, offering support and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Area Sales Managers to meet sales targets. Participate in team meetings and strategy discussions.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Meet company standards for work quality and quantity, complying with policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.
  • Adhere to workplace behavior policies and complete tasks responsibly.
Travel/Physical Demands
  • Travel is typically less than 10%. The role is based in an office environment with no special physical demands.
Qualifications

Must have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in software sales, sales development, or business development
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, positive attitude
  • Basic sales principles and CRM knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, proactive problem-solving

Nice to have:

  • Experience in dental or healthcare organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
Compensation

The base salary range is $50,000 - $54,000, with an on-target earnings range of $85,000 - $90,000. Actual pay depends on experience, skills, and other factors.
