Associate Account Executive - Central Region

Job Summary
The Associate Account Executive is responsible for driving sales for all territories in a region, identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position will need to know all of Henry Schein One products and sales processes and understand the relationship between Henry Schein Dental and Henry Schein One. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is interested in starting their career in sales and developing their skills in a dynamic environment.

What you will do

  • Sales Support: Assist a regional sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups. Help with identifying potential customers through market research.
  • Customer Engagement: Contact prospects in a sales region through calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce products and services. Present offerings and engage in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs. Assist in closing deals for open territories on a temporary basis.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients and answer any questions.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify incoming leads, schedule meetings or product demos for senior sales representatives, and ensure all leads are properly tracked in the CRM system.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, and meetings, using CRM software. Provide regular reports on sales performance.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering timely support, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Account Executives and Area Sales Managers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are responsible for:
    • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that complies with all Company policies and procedures including Worldwide Business Standards.
    • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Travel/Physical Demands
  • Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Qualifications

Must have :
  • 1 plus years’ experience in a software sales, sales development or business development position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Nice to have:
  • Experience in a dental or healthcare organization
  • BS or BA in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field(s)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce


The posted base range for this position is $50,000.00 - $54,000.00with an On target earnings range of $85,000.00 to $90,000.00. This is the expected range for an employee who is new to the role, to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
