Role Description

Notch is currently looking for an Associate/Senior Associate with experience in industrial products and services. As an Associate/Senior Associate, you will act as a connection point between our clients and industry-leading executives. You will report to and partner with the VPs and other members of the sector team on impactful projects with high visibility to Notch clients and will independently manage the day-to-day execution of client-facing projects. Associates/Senior Associates typically interact with clients, conduct industry and company research, identify target executive candidates, recruit and interact with executives, collaborate with executives to develop deal ideas, assess potential client investment opportunities, and perform other client- and executive-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and quick learner who brings sufficient experience from a relevant field to contribute to Notch's research, consulting, recruiting, and/or deal-related processes. Candidates must have exceptional academic performance and personal integrity. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a track record of solid analytical skills and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI and other emerging tools to enhance research and efficiency, while recognizing that these tools are not a substitute for independent thinking, rigorous analysis, and a strong working knowledge of the industry. Candidates must also exhibit excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), as well as a proactive appetite for research, organization, and leadership. Candidates will need to bring a people-driven attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a results-oriented mindset. They should also demonstrate the judgment, ownership, and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects with increasing independence.
