Job summary

You will work directly with clients and gain exposure to important strategic issues on a broad range of engagements, researching, analyzing, interviewing, recommending, facilitating and delivering results that strengthen client relationships.

The Associate Role

You will work directly with clients and gain exposure to important strategic issues on a broad range of consulting engagements. Associates research, analyze, interview, recommend, facilitate, advise and produce deliverables in a manner that is effective, persuasive and contributes to long lasting client relationships.

Travel, at the discretion of the client, may be necessary.

The Project Team

You will work on small project teams to identify, and often implement, solutions to clients’ problems and challenges. Project teams are typically composed of three or four consultants and a partner. Working closely with experienced ScottMadden consultants and partners will maximize your learning and enable meaningful project contributions from your very first assignment.

The Requirements

For the Associate role, you must have three to five years of post-undergraduate work experience. The nature of this experience - whether it is in general management, operations, strategy development, implementation, marketing, or finance - is not as important as the level of responsibility you assumed and the accomplishments you achieved.

Some of our Associates have experience in the energy or management consulting fields; however, specific experience in a particular functional area or industry is not essential for this position as we are confident that the people we hire will learn and begin contributing quickly.

Location

Associates locate near one of our offices in Raleigh, Atlanta or the Greater Boston area, and work from that office at least 2 days per week.
