Job Description

Visa Operations and Infrastructure (O&I) is looking for a Program Analyst with a strong focus on Project Management and teamwork collaboration to lead and contribute to complex projects within our organization. This role will be responsible for developing project plans, working with a diverse set of stakeholders, defining technical requirements and building budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience working with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and databases and should be comfortable building project plans from scratch.

This position will interact with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical program managers to ensure projects are planned, scoped, and executed on time and on budget.

As a Visa Project Analyst, you will be an integral part of a diverse, cross-functional team managing the execution of a wide variety of technical solutions. While ensuring the success of critical infrastructure projects, your ability to collaborate and work with a talented team of experienced engineers will shape Visa’s operations globally.

The Work itself:

  • Collaborate across a diverse team of technical experts to ensure solutions are implemented on schedule

  • Develop and execute timelines and budgets aligned with Visa’s operating guidelines

  • Troubleshoot coordination challenges and implement creative solutions to complex problems

  • Leverage modern technologies and project management tools to streamline project execution

  • Lead and actively contribute to planning meetings, executive updates, and technical exchange meetings

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.



Preferred Qualifications

2 or more years of work experience

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. N In particular, a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed

Experience working with people in a professional environment

Concentration or academic focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, business coursework is a plus

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Experience using project management tools like Jira

Experience with modern database technologies (SQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically

Independent judgement and mature decision-making skills to lead technology office projects that often have enterprise-wide scope and may have significant cost and time-to-market impacts

Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices



Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 84,600.00 to 119,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
