Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking an Assoc Product Development Engineer for Kitchen Electrical Appliances in a hybrid US role. You will lead small NPD projects from concept to production using Newell's Product Development Process, collaborating with PM, Marketing, Industrial Design, Manufacturing and more.

Some travel may be required. You will support senior engineers on larger projects, apply engineering judgment, and contribute ideas to improve products while leveraging AI-assisted design tools and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• CAD software literacy.
• Familiarity with problem-solving techniques and methodologies.
• Understanding of common manufacturing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working in a team with AI-assisted design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead smaller-scope NPD projects from concept through production launch following Newell's Product Development Process.
• Support senior engineers on larger projects to grow scope.
• Apply foundational engineering judgment to solve problems and contribute ideas.
• Some travel may be required.
