Fraud Operations, part of the Cyber, Data, Risk and Resilience division, plays a key role in supporting the Firm by delivering industry leading operational solutions that align the right functions, people, processes and tools to ensure clients of the Firm and the Firm itself are best protected against internal and external fraud.

The Link Analysis & Internal Fraud teams provide expert investigative skills, network analysis and event management responsive for various fraud matters. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fraud Analyst with expertise in investigating external and internal transactions for malicious behavior as well as internal misconduct. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience in fraud analysis and have some experience in brokerage/banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze transactional data, user behavior, and system access logs to identify patterns indicative of fraud or account abuse
  • Perform link analysis using graph analytics to uncover connections between accounts, employees, or third parties that may suggest collusion or organized fraud
  • Investigate & escalate suspected internal fraud incidents including policy violations, trading misconduct, data manipulation, or misuse of systems
  • Prepare clear documentation of investigations, including findings, escalations & potential trends
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Compliance, Legal, HR, and IT Security to ensure a coordinated fraud response

Qualifications

  • BA or BS preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years of fraud analytics experience in a banking & brokerage institutions
  • Solid understanding of fraud risk management principles, red flags, and regulatory considerations
  • Experience with fraud analytics or case management tools
  • Competence in querying and analyzing data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Salary range for the position: $65,000 - $135,000 / Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
