What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Deliver training programs for assigned therapeutic areas to enhance medical affairs capabilities
- Collaborate with Medical Directors to ensure training alignment with medical strategies and compliance requirements
- Analyze and report the impact of training programs, including effectiveness measurements post-training
- Assist medical teams in developing external communication materials and lead training on these resources
- Support additional training requests and initiatives as needed
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Advanced degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD), preferably in the life sciences field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with a focus on medical affairs
- At least 2 years of training or teaching-related experience, with knowledge of adult learning principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Proven project management skills, including scheduling, planning, and prioritizing diverse activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Management experience within the medical affairs sector
- Knowledge of rare/orphan disease markets
- Experience in distance learning and virtual training
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate large group presentations at meetings
- Strong coaching skills with a focus on providing constructive feedback
