Qualifications

The Associate Clinical Therapist, working alongside a licensed professional, will assess and treat individuals with mental illnesses or substance abuse problems. Services include individual and group therapy, outreach, crisis intervention, social rehabilitation, and teaching skills for everyday living across all ages (children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) in a behavioral health setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field
• Temporary Social Work permit OR LGSW OR PLPC

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, creating treatment plans, diagnosing and assisting in treatment of mental health/substance abuse issues, providing education, participating in multidisciplinary teams, maintaining community resource knowledge, documenting interventions, attending meetings, and staying current with healthcare developments.

Physical and Work Environment
