Qualifications

• Empathy and strong communication with clients and families.
• Certification as an ATP (RESNA) is required.
• Experience assessing and customizing assistive technologies.
• Technical aptitude across devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ functional abilities and assistive technology needs.
• Recommend and customize assistive technology devices.
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot devices; provide training.
• Document assessments and maintain records; support billing.
• Collaborate with occupational/physical therapists and physicians.
• Stay current with industry trends through ongoing professional development.
