Job summary

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a part-time Wait Staff for East Park Villa, an assisted living facility. Evenings with every other weekend, serving meals and assisting in meal prep and related duties.

The role covers beverage and meal service, sanitation, and supporting safe, smooth dining operations for residents, visitors and staff, with opportunities to participate in quality initiatives and committees.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 14 years old.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Knowledge of foods and preparation methods.
• Knowledge of customer service, serving and cleaning.
• Ability to understand regular diets and use a menu as reference.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages and meals to residents, visitors and staff according to approved menus, in a consistent and efficient delivery of service.
• Assists with ensuring a smooth work flow from food preparation to delivery of meals.
• Maintains responsibility for proper food handling and sanitation.
• Meets resident safety needs as appropriate.
• Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room.
• Demonstrates appropriate use, sanitation and care of equipment to provide a safe and sanitary work environment using required guidelines.
• Participates in MCHI and EPV committees, quality assurance, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and activities which support the facility and department operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is searching to fill the position of Wait Staff at our assisted living facility, East Park Villa. This position will be part-time, evenings with every other weekend.

This position is responsible for a wide variety of meal service responsibilities, including assisting in the preparation of meals, serving meals and washing dishes.

Job Duties:
