Job summary

Memorial Community Health, Inc. seeks a part-time Wait Staff for East Park Villa in an assisted living setting. Evening shifts with every other weekend. Responsibilities include meal service, beverage preparation, and dishwashing, with emphasis on safety and sanitation.

Role involves supporting residents, staff, and visitors, maintaining food service quality, and assisting in stocking supplies. Prior food service or elderly care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be minimum 14 years old.
• Previous food service/customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Knowledge of foods and preparation methods.
• Knowledge of customer service, serving and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages and meals to residents, visitors and staff according to approved menus, ensuring consistent delivery of service.
• Assists with a smooth workflow from food preparation to delivery of meals.
• Maintains responsibility for proper food handling and sanitation.
• Meets resident safety needs as appropriate.
• Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room.
• Demonstrates proper use, sanitation and care of equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participates in MCHI and EPV committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Memorial Community Health, Inc. is searching to fill the position of Wait Staff at our assisted living facility, East Park Villa. This position will be part-time, evenings with every other weekend.

This position is responsible for a wide variety of meal service responsibilities, including assisting in the preparation of meals, serving meals and washing dishes.

Job Duties:

• Prepares and serves beverages and meals to residents, visitors and staff according to approved menus, in a consistent and efficient delivery of service.
• Assists with ensuring a smooth work flow from food preparation to delivery of meals.
• Maintains responsibility for proper food handling and sanitation.
• Meets resident safety needs as appropriate.
• Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room.
• Demonstrates appropriate use, sanitation and care of equipment to provide a safe and sanitary work environment using required guidelines.
• Participates in MCHI and EPV committees, quality assurance, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and activities which support the facility and department operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
