Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Assisted Living Supervisor to lead the neighborhood team and assure high‑quality resident care. You will supervise staff, deliver hands-on care, and coordinate scheduling, timekeeping, and ISPs while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

You will act as a working leader, guiding care teams and collaborating with activities and dining to boost resident engagement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare.
• Prior supervisory or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and care systems).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support assisted living team members.
• Provide direct resident care and champion the Resident-Centered Care model.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily task assignments.
• Review timekeeping and support payroll accuracy.
• Monitor resident changes in condition and communicate with families.
• Support development of ISPs (Individualized Service Plans).
• Partner with Activities and Dining to enhance resident engagement.
• Participate in Crossover meetings to ensure smooth communication.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and Sunrise standards.
• Promote safety, infection control, and risk management practices.
