Cedar Sinai Park in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Assisted Living RN for full- and part-time roles at Rose Schnitzer Manor. You will provide compassionate nursing care to residents, work with CNAs, and support residents’ independence and dignity.

Our team emphasizes relationships, collaboration, and a warm community where residents are known by name and cared for with respect. Oregon RN licensure and CPR/First Aid are required; prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ similar experience required.
• Current licensure in Oregon as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction to CNAs and MAs in unit care and monitors performance.
• Observes and documents changes in residents’ conditions and reports them.

Cedar Sinai Park is looking for full and part-time Registered Nurse for our Assisted Living community!

We are located at 6125 SW Boundary St. Portland, Oregon 97221, in the Raleigh Hills area of southwest Portland. We are on bus line 54 and 56 from Portland to Beaverton.

Summary Responsible for nursing care of assigned residents, assessing conditions and making appropriate nursing decisions within the scope of nursing licensure; and ensuring the Cedar Sinai Park goal of providing care to our residents in an atmosphere of comfort, independence and dignity.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Provides direction and guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medication Aides in unit care of residents. Evaluates completion of duties and makes reassignments as necessary to ensure provision of service to the residents. Assists with orientation of new staff.

• Observes, documents and reports any significant changes in the resident's condition that warrants medical and/or nursing intervention. Completes paperwork for resident physician appointments, transfers and discharges. Gathers data for entry into the clinical record.

• Assures the provision of nursing services and takes action to ensure fulfilling resident wishes and promoting the least restrictive alternative of care.

• Provides direct resident care when needed.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications

• 1 – 3 years’ similar experience required.

• Current licensure in the state of Oregon as a Registered Nurse required. Must be in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
