Job summary

Campbell Street is seeking an Assisted Living Director to lead operations, ensure high-quality, person-centered care, and maintain regulatory compliance within the community.

You will develop policies, oversee admissions and care plans, and coordinate with clinical teams to promote resident well-being and safety. Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, social services, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of Assisted Living operations, ensuring high standards of resident care and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations governing assisted living communities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and care practices in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational expectations.
• Oversee resident admissions, assessments, service plans, and ongoing care coordination.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical partners, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident health, safety, and well-being.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Assisted Living staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Promote staff engagement, retention, and professional development.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and families, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting are maintained accurately and timely.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing levels, and operational resources effectively.
• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and resident-centered community culture.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and risk management concerns appropriately.
• Represent the Assisted Living community positively within the organization and the broader community.

POSITION PURPOSE: The Assisted Living Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and quality of care within the Assisted Living community. Qualifications
