Job summary

Peace Church is seeking an Assistant Director of Youth to join the team as a full-time female staff member, working 40 hours per week. The role assists the Pastor of Youth and Family in guiding the youth ministry and ministering to female students, with membership expectations for the candidate.

The position emphasizes modeling Christ in daily life, mentoring female youth, and participating in church activities such as Sunday School and youth gatherings, while providing organizational support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Vital and joyful relationship with Jesus.
• Experience and/or training in youth ministry.

Responsibilities

• Model Jesus in word and deed as we seek to help students grow in grace.
• Assist the Youth Pastor with the planning and execution of youth ministry.
• Disciple and develop relationships with female youth at Peace.
• Attend and provide leadership for Sunday School, Youth Group, High-School Bible Study, Middle-School Discipleship Groups, Social and Outreach Events, Retreats, and Mission Trips (and other occasional and regular events).
• Provide administrative support
• Read assigned texts for spiritual and professional development.

The Assistant Director of Youth is a full time female staff position. Work hours are 40 hrs/wk. The purpose of this role is to assist the Pastor of Youth and Family in his area of leadership by ministering to the youth of Peace Church, particularly the female students. The person must be a member in good standing or willing to pursue membership at Peace.
