Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• NFHS Certification and Steroid and Concussion Management Training.
• OSAA & NFHS Coaching requirements.
• Blood Borne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment, Bullying Prevention and Child Abuse Training.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• First Aid and CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as directed by the head coach and as assigned by school officials.
• Adhere to district policies and OSAA/NFHS standards.
• Maintain equipment and facilities and ensure safety during practices and contests.
• Attend contests, practices, and Booster Club meetings and communicate with athletes.
• Instruct players on rules, new developments, and best training practices.
• Support as required to improve program performance and comply with the Athletic Director.
