OHIO Athletics is a dynamic team of student-athletes, coaches and administrators with a vision to demonstrate unprecedented excellence in athletics, academics and student-athlete development. Our championship culture provides a foundation for our students to grow as a person, student and athlete.

Responsible to the head coach for providing coaching expertise and leadership of the intercollegiate women's volleyball program; assisting the head coach in the effective management and administration of all aspects relating to a positive and beneficial intercollegiate experience for student-athletes.

• Teaching and coaching student-athletes to develop and acquire the tactical, technical and physical knowledge required to be a competitive Division I intercollegiate level student-athlete. Responsible for skill instruction during individual and team practices.
• Talent assessment and recruiting. Assists in conducting a successful recruiting program to identify and cultivate outstanding student-athletes to Ohio University.
• Assist with the administration of the women's volleyball program budget including budget management, and team travel arrangements. Ensure the program, including staff members and student-athletes, is in compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and Ohio University regulations.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of one (1) year of collegiate coaching experience required. CPR certification will be required within 90 days of start date

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree , collegiate experience with a Division I program and previous playing experience preferred.

Department ICA-Volleyball Pay Rate

Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
