  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; able to operate within a team environment
  • Have previous experience coaching Women's basketball at the collegiate level as a full-time employee, graduate student, or intern preferred
COACHING:
  • Perform duties in all pre-season, in-season and off-season practice sessions as assigned by head coach
  • Perform duties during intercollegiate competitions as assigned by head coach
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned by head coach including team travel plans, assisting with equipment, room checks, etc.
  • Attend NCAA compliance educational sessions as required by the University Compliance Coordinator
  • Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations as per the NCAA Compliance Manual
  • Perform recruiting duties as assigned by head coach
  • Participate in community activities to promote sport, department, and the University
RECRUITING:
  • Assist the NSU Admissions office in identifying and recruiting students who are outstanding academically or in extracurricular activities other than athletics
