Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc. in the Southwest region seeks an Assistant Project Manager to coordinate field logistics, manage budgets, and support wildlife and ecological projects.

This full-time role reports to project leadership and collaborates with internal staff, clients, and subcontractors to keep deliverables on time and within scope. Based in Tucson or Albuquerque, you will organize travel, lodging, equipment, and schedules, while mentoring field crews and ensuring QA/QC standards across

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in wildlife or biology required.
• 3+ years in a consulting environment or related field.
• Experience planning wildlife surveys and field logistics.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field logistics, equipment, and project documentation.
• Support tracking goals, milestones, and schedules.
• Develop scopes of work, proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Assist QA/QC procedures and deliverable preparation.
• Mentor junior staff and field crews as appropriate.
• Communicate risks and changes to project leadership.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
