Job summary

Social Influence LLC in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Web Press Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to build a long-term career in web offset printing.

You will assist press operators with setup, operation, and shutdown, monitor print quality, manage rolls and delivery systems, and help keep production on schedule. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with pay up to $23/hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required.
• Prior experience in print manufacturing, production equipment, bindery, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
• Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators with setup, operation, and shutdown of web offset press equipment.
• Help prepare and monitor paper rolls, roll stands, web feeding, and delivery systems.
• Support press crews during production runs to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Monitor print quality, color, registration, and overall production flow.
• Assist with folding, cutting, sheeting, and delivery operations.
• Make basic adjustments under the direction of press operators or leads.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to the team.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance support, and housekeeping around the press.
• Follow job tickets, production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Work closely with press operators, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities
