Job summary

The Town of Orleans, MA is seeking a qualified professional to manage the municipal water supply, treatment, and distribution system, ensuring a safe and reliable water resource for all residents and businesses.

You will assist in the administration and operations of the wastewater collection system and treatment plant, overseeing related infrastructure while protecting public health and the environment in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

Administrative, supervisory, and technical work in managing the operations and maintenance of the municipal water supply, treatment, and distribution system to maintain an adequate and safe supply of water for all purposes. Assists in the administration and O&M of the municipal wastewater collection system and treatment plant including gravity sewers, pump stations, treatment plant, and related infrastructure. Ensures reliable service of and protection of public health and the environment in accordance with all applicable regulations. Performs all other related work as required.
