Job summary

Fiberglass Coatings in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager to support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will supervise warehouse staff and help ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer orders.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in warehousing or logistics, strong leadership, experience with ERP and Excel, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Experience managing shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment operations.
• Strong leadership and employee management skills.
• ERP and Excel experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• CDL A with hazmat endorsement a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Coordinate safe loading of trailers to maximize space and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure compliance with shipping documentation and transportation requirements.
• Coordinate FGCI transfers and customer deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure fleet vehicles receive inspections and preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.

The Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our Fort Lauderdale warehouse, including order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping and receiving, trailer loading, and logistics coordination. This position supervises warehouse personnel and ensures customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Monitor workflow to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Ensure trailers are loaded safely and efficiently to maximize space utilization and minimize shipping costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all shipping documentation and transportation requirements.
• Coordinate FGCI transfers and customer deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure all fleet vehicles receive required inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs while maintaining accurate maintenance and service records.
