Job summary

Esler Companies, owner of Renewal by Andersen, is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager in Shreveport, LA to support daily inbound deliveries and outbound orders, ensure safety, and drive compliance improvements. You will help implement key operations and HR programs while guiding a warehouse team.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse operations with leadership experience, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits apply, including 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to build good relationships in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word.
• Expert people management capability including hourly teammates
• Proven ability to execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
• Organizational skills, detail oriented
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment
• At least 5 years diversified experience in warehouse operations, safety, and compliance in a manufacturing or distribution facility required
• 3+ years leadership experience; preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement key Operations and HR programs and change initiatives.
• Coach, lead and develop the Warehouse team on the appropriate procedures, policies, and safety.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts and maintain appropriate.
• Recommend changes and improvements to current work procedures to leadership and provide leadership guidance on appropriate initiatives.
• Maintain overall inventory, cleanliness, and organization of all warehouse locations.
• Assist with team lifts as required.
• Other job duties as assigned.
