Priority Wire & Cable, Inc. seeks an Assistant Warehouse Manager for the Norcross, GA facility on 2nd shift (11am–8pm). The role supervises 4+ staff, coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory control, and safety procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of warehouse experience, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to multitask while ensuring reliable attendance and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and 4–5 years warehouse experience.
• Wire distribution experience preferred.
• Proficient in math and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Must be 18 years or older and able to understand and follow safety guidelines.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Assistant Warehouse Manager - Norcross, GA

2nd Shift - 11am - 8pm

Priority Wire & Cable is in need of an Assistant Warehouse Manager. The candidate must possess good management skills, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Plans, Directs and Coordinates activities pertaining to the operations of distribution facility in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.

We are a veteran hiring advocate and will consider candidates with relevant military experience in supply chain, logistics and warehouse inventory management.

You will also need to be able to:

• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use sit down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail
• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job due to its in-person work requirement.
• You must have access to reliable transportation to and from work, whether that be public transportation or a personal vehicle. This is a critical element for the role with which you are applying.

What is it like at a Priority Wire and Cable Warehouse?

• Safety - Your safety is important to us, so we provide all employees with proper PPE to complete the task at hand. Monthly meetings are held to review safety protocols and additional topics.
• Surroundings - You will be working around moving machines – order pickers, forklifts, and heavy reels
• Activity - Some activities may require standing and cutting wire in one place for long periods, pushing heavy reels to machines, and getting dirty while working
• Temperature - Non-climate controlled warehouse environment. On a hot day, temperatures can reach up to 90°F in some parts of the warehouse and over 90°F in the truck trailers and containers.
• Noise Level - It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protective gear if needed.
• Dress code - Relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety. ASTM F2413 approved safety footwear is required. We offer an annual voucher up to 125.00 for safety footwear.

Company shirts are provided after the first 90 days.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
• 4-5 years warehouse experience; wire distribution experience preferred.
• Proficient Math Skills. Proficient Computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus
