Job summary

Trail Drive Management Corp in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the warehouse operations, purchasing, and in-house F&B program launch. The role oversees staffing, training, scheduling, inventory, and sanitation standards on-site.

You will work with F&B leadership, manage vendors, supervise staff during events, and ensure accurate inventory and cost controls while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older with purchasing and staff management experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume food service, venue operations, and warehouse work is preferred.
  • Strong English reading/writing, math, and computer skills required.
  • Experience with inventory planning, ordering, and vendor selection is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staffing, hiring, training, and scheduling of warehouse staff.
  • Manage receiving, stocking, and distribution of food/beverage across the venue.
  • Ensure HACCP controls, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and par levels; monitor usage trends.
  • Lead month-end counts and coordinate with purchasing and finance.

Assistant Warehouse Manager WRMC Trail Drive Management Corporation Properties Trail Drive Management Corp TDMC is a not for profit venue management company in Fort Worth Texas TDMC manages all aspects of venue management including but not limited to event booking event management marketing IT technical services food & beverage parking security housekeeping changeover maintenance and more TDMC manages several venues in Fort Worth TX Job Summary Trail Drive Management Corp TDMC is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager This position will assist the Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Manager with the successful operation of the facility and establishment of an in house food and beverage operation as well as the day to day and long term business management The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for assisting with hiring training and maintaining warehouse staff; assisting with pre event preparation and setup process and adhering to established event schedules; delegating work to staff as necessary This position will oversee the staffing of all warehouse team members as well as the receiving stocking and distribution of all food and beverages for the entire venue This position is responsible for ensuring that exceptional sanitation and food handling practices are always maintained In addition the Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for facilitating accurate inventory counts within the warehouse and in support of the entire operation This position is 100 on site

Essential Job Functions

Partner with TDMC & Food and Beverage department leadership to ensure successful operation of the F&B DepartmentAssist with the establishment and enforcement of all company policies Work closely with other team members and other departments to ensure department specific procedures tasks and goals are met consistent and effective communication occurs efficient operational performance and a positive reputation of the venue within the marketindustry is maintainedAssist with the development of policies pertaining to all purchasing and warehouse related functions of an in house F&B operation from beginning to end Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure all warehouse team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobsAssist in the hiring training staffing and scheduling of all warehouse team members Assist in the creation of order guides and requisitions for the warehouse all restaurants clubs catering club seats suites and all concession areasSupport the monitoring of usage trends and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained in anticipation of business needsMaintain warehouse par levels and prepare orders Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving shipping and transfer of food and beverage products throughout the arena; make sure established guidelines are followedVerify all product transfers and ensure accuracy of information is input into computerinventory systemsAssign daily tasks to warehouse team members and ensure all daily tasks are completedVerify all invoices for accuracy and report any shortages or discrepancies Establish strong relationships with vendorsProvide supervision and consistent presence during events; observe event operations and monitor service delivery; proactively address issues and gaps in serviceSupervise and motivate warehouse employees to work as a teamSupport the mentorship and development of supervisors and team members dailyLead team members in month end inventory counts and ensure accuracy of information is input into computer systemsManage and maintain the time and attendance system on behalf of the purchasing departmentResponsible for the safe service and security of all alcoholic beveragesEnsure HACCP standards are followed including temperatures of food and beverage product rotation and cleanliness and sanitation of the areaEnsure that daily walkthroughs are conducted throughout the venue with consideration for sanitation safety inventory levels etc Support both FOH and BOH in all business aspectsEngage with internal and external guests to ensure exceptional hospitality is always received Assist in the development and achievement of assigned budget goalsContribute to required daily reportingEngage with the Trail Drive Management team in coordination of decision making for facility specific or event related items as well as department specific procedures tasks and goals including but not limited to President & General Manager Director of Finance Director of Marketing Director of Food & Beverage and Director of OperationsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age 2 years of purchasing experience; buying and staff management experience preferredPrevious experience in high volume complex food service operations; sports and or entertainment venue strongly preferred Previous experience within a food & beverage establishment and warehouse operations strongly preferredExperience with warehouse ordering operations requisitioning and or inventory control systemsEnglish reading writing comprehension math and computer skills requiredExperience with short and long term inventory planningDemonstrate knowledge in and experience with team member recruitment training development mentoring and counseling; experience leading teams in a supervisory or management capacity of 10 20 preferredDemonstrate ability to complete projects in a reliable productive and expedient manner while adhering to strict deadlinesKeyboarding skills and computer proficiency with software knowledge including MS OfficeExperience with computerized workforce management software is strongly preferredExperience with inventory and order management software is strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to operate motorized vehicles and warehouse equipment strongly preferredAbility to work independently and in a team environmentSelf motivated with strong client and vendor relations and staff management skills; previous experience with vendor and product selection strongly preferredSuperior internal and external customer service experienceAbility to taste and evaluate food and beverage productsAbility to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately loudly or quicklyThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; determine the accuracy neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned; visual inspection involving small errors andor operation of machines including inspection; using measurement devices; andor assembly parts at distances close to the eyesAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidaysAble to communicate effectively with management guests and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced high energy environment

Working Conditions
