Job Duties:
The primary and most important responsibility of a coach is instructing student-athletes. Reporting to the Head Women's Volleyball Coach (Head Coach), the individual serving in this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution required.
Collegiate volleyball playing experience and 1 year of coaching experience required, or equivalent combination of playing and coaching experience.
Strong organizational, oral, written, and teaching skills are required.
Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations required.
Post-hire: Must pass NCAA certification recruiting test within thirty (30) days of beginning employment date.
Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Prior NCAA Division I volleyball participation and/or coaching experience are preferred.
Experience with DATAVOLLEY preferred.
Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are preferred.
